July 3gun At DPRC |
|
Thanks to Ed and everyone else that helped with making this match happen. I would also like to thanks all of the shooters for supporting the DPRC 3gun. 52 shooters is a good showing.
I had a blast watching you guys and gals shoot. I know there was some frustration and heartburn on the shotgun stage…but it was designed to get you some trigger time, simulate pressure and stay within stage time constraints, which helps to keep the match moving. If we run a 300 second shotgun stage then the match will bottle neck….but we will make a modification to this stage and run it at the next match.
If anyone has any stage design schemes please don’t hesitate to let me know. You are welcome to come on setup day and I will help you set it up. The only stipulation is that your stage design adheres to club safety rules and stage time requirements (reset time also) .
This is YOUR match…I make no money or receive no compensation (other than the fun of shooting and observing) for setting up and running these matches. Your input is ALWAYS welcome.
I hope to see ya at the next match:
September 25
October 24 - Sunday match
November 13 - 2 Gun Fund Raiser, see below
December 11

Charles
I appreciate your efforts and those of the set up crew.
Rob and I had a squared away squad who contributed by being prepared and resetting whenever they were not coming up. It was a really good group who encouraged one another and helped point out the performance flaws of others with good natured laughter, especially toward themselves.
Ed has the thankless job of recording and compiling the scores. Everyone owes him a big thank you.
Thanks to everyone for a great match and positive attitudes,
Harry

Was the scoring error changed to allow the match director to beat Piatt?

Nah, Charles beat Piatt fair and square. In fact, I did too. It was only the scoring system that allowed Piatt to "beat" this old man in Match Points.
Piatt is still a punk pussy driving a personally owned Crown Vic to appear important. I guess he wants to be a state trooper when he grows up.
